Dr. Hong, DAOM, is a specialist in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  His specialty include oncology and advance pain management (see Conditions treated page for more details).

 

Dr. Hong completed his medical training at the following hospitals:

Dr. Hong is designated as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is practicing as a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Washington.


In 2013, Dr. Hong was choosen by King5 Best Western Washington as winner for Best acupuncture.


In 2016, Dr. Hong was choosen by piers for Best Doctor in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine award by Seattle Met magazine.

 

 

Dr. Hong also wrote many articles and journals about Chinese medicine for the famous Vietnamese weekly newspaper called Nguoi Viet Ngay Nay

 

His book about Chinese herbal medicine will be published in 2015.

 

Dr. Hong is also the TV host for a Traditional Medicine Program on the famous Vietnamese TV called VietTV.   (Past programs can be found here.)

 
Besides working as a Chinese medical practitioner, his other interests include Vietnamese and Chinese traditional music, Chinese brush painting and calligraphy,

Qi Gong, Ba Duan Jin, Tai Chi, and Chinese Food therapy.  He is currently director and founder of Huong Viet Performing Arts Group, a registerd 501c3 non-profit organization focusing in promoting and popularizing Vietnamese traditional music and arts.
